Wesleyan Transportation

Information regarding transportation services provided through Wesleyan University can be found here.

The Ride is a free campus shuttle service available to all Wesleyan students. The Ride runs 7pm-4am, seven days a week, with designated shuttle stops. To request a pick up at any Ride shuttle stop, call (860) 685-3788. The current location of The Ride can be found here. To track The Ride route from your mobile device, download the Wes Shuttle App in the App Store or the Play Store.

XtraMile:

XtraMile is a free* ride-sharing service that anyone can use to get to and from anywhere in our service area. Our shuttle bus picks you up and takes you to wherever it is that you need to go right when you need it. Please visit their website for more information.

XtraMile now operates in two service areas, the Shoreline XtraMile area, and the NEW Middletown XtraMile area.

From Middletown to New Haven:

  1. Take the M Link to the Amtrak station in Meriden (See schedule).
  2. Take a train to New Haven. You can buy tickets online here.
  3. Take the Wesleyan Shuttle to New Haven.

From Middletown to Hartford:

  • Intercity bus service is available on weekdays from downtown Hartford to downtown Middletown. For more information, please see the Route 55 link under the Hartford bus schedule here.

From New Haven to New York (Grand Central Terminal):

From New York (JFK/LaGuardia Airport) to Middletown:
