You can submit a work order to the Physical Plant during regular working hours, or for non-emergency issues:
- Call the Physical Plant at 860-685-3400 (please leave a message if no one answers).
- Alternatively, submit a work order through your WesPortal: WesPortal > Facilities > WesFix > Report A Problem.
Once your complaint is in the system, you should typically receive an email with a work order number. If you do not receive a work order number, please resubmit the request through WesPortal. You will receive an automatically generated email confirming the submission of your complaint. This step is crucial for helping us address your concerns if the complaint needs to be escalated.
In the case of an emergency after 4:30 pm or on weekends, please contact Public Safety at 860/685-2345.
If a reasonable amount of time has passed, and you feel that your complaint has not been addressed, don’t hesitate to reach out to members of the housing committee with your work order number, and we will escalate the issue on your behalf.
